"I am a returning client to State Farm but my first time with Paul Clark. I am dissatisfied with the miscommunication from the agent Derek and whomever the lady is that contacted me from their office today. I previously spoke with Derek regarding my vehicle suddenly not moving forward. I let him know my vehicle was at home, which made me ineligible to use roadside assistance because the vehicle was not on the roadside. I informed Derek that I had another prepaid tow service that I would use to get my vehicle to the shop. I was aware that I was not eligible for roadside assistance reimbursement. I asked for clarification on roadside assistance clause regarding the 1 hour of mechanical services toward transmission problems. Dereck informed me that it’s only $85 toward the mechanics labor, no matter the fee I would be charged. He said to bring in my receipt after I pay for my transmission and they could refund me $85. I had the receipt dropped off because I had an emergency. I got a call from a lady with State Farm this morning, letting me know that they have my receipt and it was placed on Derek’s desk, however he has no recollection of speaking with me regarding the reimbursement. She repeatedly told me that they will not pay me for anything to do with my transmission. After bringing Derek on the line, he says that he only recalls talking to me when I first purchased the insurance from them. I reminded him of parts of our conversation and he clearly has amnesia and recalls nothing. The lady is steadily informing me that they don’t offer any transmission reimbursement of any kind. I ask her to pull up the clause and explain it to me. She must have found it because now she says bring in a receipt where the tow truck driver worked on your transmission for an hour and not the shop. I am unaware that tow truck drivers repair or work on transmission’s so I’m confused. I again say I only did what I was advised to do and would have never sent the receipt if I wasn’t told to. The lady acted as if I was trying to fraudulently get $85 out of State Farm, when I pay more than double that a month for my 2 vehicles. I wish they would have simply said there’s been some miscommunication somewhere and we don’t cover that. I would have understood. I did not like the hostility from the lady as if I knowingly did something wrong. I will be switching agencies in the future but sticking with State Farm."

"Great. 10/10 Recommend, for the same reasons I wrote about elsewhere; I first found the Paul Clark State Farm Ins. because it was close to where I moved in Battle Creek. When I moved back to Portage, I tried a few local agencies here, they didn't compare, so I went back to Paul Clark's agency. they've been great about with finding ways to do business on line, and by mail. They've been patient when I asked about looking for any discounts that might help me, and did find a way that helped. the quality of their service had been consistently professional & friendly in my 12+ years of doing business with them."

"I filed a claim online and within an hour my local State Farm agency reached out to see if there was anything they could help with. Where my vehicle was at there was a possibility it could be towed, it was illegally parked. I couldn’t get a hold of the claims adjuster assigned to my vehicle so I called back my local State Farm agency and the manager Kate, got on the phone with whoever and within a few minutes, the claims adjuster called me. I always have great service whenever I deal with this office!"
